Backing up waypoint, routes and tracks on c95/c97/c125/c127/e7/e7D/e95/e97/e125/e127 MFDs

Raymarine recommends that customers regularly back up their waypoint, route, and track data to prevent accidental loss.  Also, the software update procedure for Raymarine's MFDs require that a Factory Reset operation be performed following installation of the software.  A Factory Reset operation will permanently delete any waypoints, routes, and tracks stored within the MFD's Memory.  Backing up your waypoint, route, and track data prior to performing the software update will permit this data to be restored in your MFD following the Factory Reset operation.  Waypoints, routes, and tracks may be backed up to a commonly available microSD memory card.  Waypoint, route, track data, and system configuration data can be stored on a microSD memory card which also contains software update files.

NOTE: To avoid potentially corrupting the data on your Navionics chart card, DO NOT back up waypoint/route/track data to your Navionics chart card.  MicroSD cards are commonly available in most stores selling consumer electronics products.
