Raymarine UK awards its dealers

Thursday 05 November 2009 – Leading marine electronics company Raymarine has presented two of its sales outlets with awards at the annual Raymarine UK & Ireland Dealer & Retail Conference.

 

Marine Superstore received the Retail Centre of the Year 2009 award, while Marine Electronic Services Ltd was presented with the Service Dealer of the Year 2009 award.

 

Marine Superstore, which is based at Port Solent in Hampshire, helped more than double its turnover by advertising in European press, which drove customers to its website. Gemma Westcott, Raymarine UK Marketing Manager, says “Working closely with Raymarine, Marine Superstore took an extremely active role in promoting Raymarine’s special offers and continued to maintain the extensive and up-to-date Raymarine interactive display situated in the store. The culmination of all of Marine Superstores’ efforts resulted in a very impressive increase in turnover over 2008.  This was a fantastic achievement in what has been a very difficult financial year for everyone in the industry.”

Marine Electronic Services Ltd, of Bristol and Poole, won the Service Dealer of the Year 2009 award thanks to outstanding levels of customer service.  MES’s fully trained installation and support team has reacted to the increased demands of Raymarine customers to ensure that the Raymarine product range has been installed on time and to an extremely high standard. Gemma says, “The level of service thatMarine Electronics Services offers has meant it has been able to take its Raymarine business to a new level and we are in complete support of their efforts.”
