Starting and finishing at the Island Sailing Club at Cowes on the Isle of Wight, the Round the Island Race is the UK's largest yachting race.
The 2008 event attracted over 1700 boats and 16,000 sailors join in, with thousands of spectators on shore. This year's race takes place on 20 June 2009, and is expected to be bigger and better than ever!
