The transducer(s) you select for your i70 Instrument will depend on factors such as the mounting option, the material, power and frequency. To begin, select what data you would like your instrument to display. You can then browse the related transducers.
Connecting via a dedicated converter
With the exception of Smart Transducers which connect directly to the backbone, you will require a converter to convert the transducer signals to SeaTalkng. The converter then connects to your SeaTalkng backbone.
Instrument transducer converter
Connecting via instruments
Analogue transducers can be connected directly to the back of i50 (Speed, Depth) and i60 (Wind) instruments, which will then pass the digital data onto the SeaTalkng (NMEA2000) network, eliminating the need for a dedicated iTC-5 converter.
